The establishment of data-sharing partnerships between technology companies and international development organizations (IDOs) can lead to meaningful public good, but what’s the best way to facilitate such partnerships?
Athena Infonomics conducted a case study on the Development Data Partnership, a data-sharing platform established by a World Bank-led consortium to scale up partnerships between development partners (such as IDOs) and data partners (including technology companies). This case study was developed as part of Effective Data Sharing: Beyond Platforms, a report commissioned by the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data that investigates the landscape of data-sharing partnerships and identifies the key drivers of success.
