Understanding the Water Supply and Sanitation Regulation Landscape Throughout Africa
Athena Infonomics, as part of a consortium engagement led by Aguaconsult, was commissioned by the Eastern and Southern Africa Water and Sanitation (ESAWAS) Regulators Association, a leading forum for the promotion of effective regulation of water supply and sanitation services in Africa, to conduct a landscape study on water supply and sanitation regulation in all 54 African countries.
Athena worked with Aguaconsult to develop the study's analytical framework, conduct primary and secondary research on regulatory institutions, mandates, and practices, and produce reports on water supply and sanitation at the country, regional, and continent level.
