Athena Infonomics is conducting an impact assessment evaluating the success of the “Water and Sanitation Finance Program for Organic Cotton Growers of Madhya Pradesh,” an initiative being implemented by Action for Social Advancement with support from Water.org.
This program is aimed at addressing the water and sanitation issues of organic cotton producers, with a specific target of Water and Sanitation Credit support to 4,000 households of organic cotton producers in 90 villages throughout the Madhya Pradesh districts of Jhabua, Ratlam, Alirajpur, Dhar, and Barwani.
The goal of the impact assessment is to assess the extent to which the program has met its objectives, evaluate the overall impacts on key metrics, take inventory of lessons learned, build on experience, and make recommendations for similar programs in the future.
