The Vijayavahini Charitable Foundation (VCF), supported by Tata Trusts, has commissioned Athena Infonomics to manage an assessment of India's National Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Programme, an initiative of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).

This assessment consists of: an evaluation of the NCD Programme's initial strategy, evolved design, inputs, processes, output, and outcomes; recommendations based on the current status of NCDs in India and emerging challenges faced by the public healthcare system in the implementation and management of the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases (NP-NCD) throughout the country; and other activities.
