Assessing the Commercial Viability of 'Swaasa' Across 11 Healthcare Centers in India
Centre for Health Research and Innovation (CHRI)- PATH

Project Overview

Athena Infonomics partnered with CHRI-PATH under the SAMRIDH-Swassa initiative, to evaluate the commercial viability of the "Swaasa®" application for respiratory illness screening. Spanning 11 centers across 8 states in India, the assessment gauged clinicians' and individuals' willingness to adopt "Swaasa®," alongside understanding existing screening methods and user perspectives on pricing.

Athena's Role

Athena employed a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques. Data collection included structured schedules and semi-structured interviews with stakeholders and service providers, focusing on deployment strategies, usability, and acceptance.

Impact

The evaluation delivered critical insights into successful strategies and challenges for integrating app-based respiratory screening in public and private healthcare. These findings optimize the adoption and sustainability of "Swaasa®," ensuring its alignment with diverse healthcare needs.
