The NLR India Foundation (NLRIF)—an organization dedicated to creating an inclusive society free from leprosy, allied skin neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), and related disabilities—has tapped Athena Infonomics to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of NLRIF's four key projects: Self-Care Projects; Self-Care Camps at PHCs; Combined Self-Care Camps; and Home-Based Self-Care.
Athena's scope includes: developing and evaluating protocols and tools for the four projects; securing ethical clearance and carrying out primary research and data analysis; drafting "how-to" guidelines on the projects/models/approaches recommended for scale-up; and creating need-based, low-cost information, education, and communication (IEC) materials related to these scale-up recommendations.
