Elizabeth Smith Geddeh serves as Athena Infonomics’ County Governance Manager, working on the Countywide Sanitation Activity (CWSA) in Liberia. Before joining Athena, she worked with the John Hopkins University Centre for Communication Program (CCP) USAID Breakthrough ACTION project as a County Field Manager. In this position, Elizabeth collaborated with the government and non-government partners at the county, district, and community level, serving as a liaison for SBC-related health issues.
Elizabeth brings more than ten years of experience working with WASH projects in various positions: WASH Team Leader; County WASH Coordinator; County WASH Manager; and a Program Manager and County Field Manager with various organizations, such as Action Against Hunger, Oxfam, Concern Worldwide, Global Communities, John Hopkins University, and the Breakthrough ACTION SBC project.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s degree in Demography and Sociology from the University of Liberia, an AA degree in Nursing from Mother Pattern College of Health Sciences, and a certificate in Environmental Health from the Tubman National Institute of Medical Arts.
