Kadambari Anantram is Director of the Climate and Livelihoods vertical at Athena Infonomics. Over the last 18 years, she has worked with governments, Foundations, CSR, bilateral/multi-lateral agencies, think-tanks and academic institutions to design, implement and evaluate cross-sector social impact portfolios and programs. In addition, she has extensive experience in building capacities of teams in Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL). Her work has spanned the domains of climate change, natural resource management, livelihoods and women's empowerment.
Her areas of interest include evaluation of systems change, building and evaluating prototypes to inform scale. Prior to joining Athena Infonomics, Kadambari was Vice President - Research and Advisory Services at Sambodhi Research and Communication Pvt Ltd. She also worked at Phicus Social Solutions, where she built ground-up the MERL vertical. She holds master's degrees in Environmental Economics, Development Studies and Sociology from the University of York, University of Sussex and University of California, Riverside respectively. Kadambari has contributed to book chapters and journal articles on climate change, poverty alleviation, global political economy and social movements.
