Manav Sharma is a social impact and development professional with a strong passion for creating positive societal change. Serving as a Consultant for Athena’s India portfolio, his work includes effective client, stakeholder, and project management. Manav’s areas of interest include health, education, WASH, and sustainability intersecting with gender justice.

Prior to his tenure at Athena, Manav worked as a senior executive in the social research team at Market Xcel, where he collaborated with the Department of Justice, Room to Read, Water.org, Save the Children, Sightsavers, Nation First Policy Research Center, Evidence Action, CUTS International, Plan India, CEEW, and Oxfam. His diverse experience working across verticals and stakeholders has enabled him to develop a nuanced understanding of the sector.

Manav's commitment to social impact and development is evident in his professional experience and academic qualifications. He holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai with minors in Gender and Microfinance, and has held internships at various NGOs.
