Monisha Lakshminarayanan’s expertise lies in qualitative research, both primary and secondary. She is passionate about improving psycho-social support systems for children and adolescents in challenging circumstances using high-quality evidence.

Prior to joining Athena Infonomics, Monisha was the lead evidence synthesis specialist with Campbell South Asia. She led and contributed to several evidence-based products (systematic reviews, maps, and plain language summaries) across the health and social sectors. She has also worked with the Centre for Child Adolescent Wellbeing, Project 39A, and was a fellow at Teach for India.

Monisha holds an MPhil in Psychiatric Social Work from NIMHANS and a PhD in Social Sciences from Delhi University. She has also undergone specialized training in child and adolescent mental health services from NIMHANS. Her doctoral research explored the pathways to resilience development in the aftermath of child abuse among children in street situations.
