Dr. Pankaj Sharma, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital & Health Management and a Master’s in Sociology, brings over 15 years of experience in the development sector. His work spans public health, nutrition, WASH, skill development, and local governance. He has led research, monitoring & evaluation, and policy advisory initiatives for clients including the World Bank, UN agencies, government bodies, and CSR wings of corporates.
Dr. Sharma recently joined Athena as Principal Consultant – IBU. Prior to this, he was with KPMG Advisory India, where he led the Program Management Unit at the National Health Authority (NHA), managing the nationwide rollout of nine convergence schemes.
He is known for his ability to lead large-scale, high-impact projects and deliver evidence-based development strategies. Beyond work, he enjoys reading non-fiction, following cricket, and exploring new destinations.
