Shrija Dey’s interests lie at the intersection of gender, nutrition, youth governance, climate change, and public policy through the lens of public health. She is passionate about designing and implementing programs that endeavor to undo the limits of predestined identities.
Prior to Athena, Shrija worked with the nonprofit organization Jhpiego on USAID-funded projects dealing with family planning and gender. Since then, she has been working to expand her horizons in her scope of work, towards creating data-driven evidence and developing more robust strategies and policies. Having extensive experience working with different stakeholders, her objective is to use the power of partnerships and messaging to drive resources and desired behavioral changes towards social equity.
Shrija earned a B.Tech in Biotechnology from Amity University and has a Master's degree in Public Health from Indian Institute of Public Health - Delhi, Public Health Foundation of India.
