Tarul Jain is passionate about providing actionable solutions to some of the world’s most pressing and intricate social problems. She believes one way to do so is through designing and anchoring impact evaluation studies to understand what does and does not work in development programs around the world. Her thematic experience revolves around sexual reproductive health in adolescents, maternal and child nutrition, education, and WASH. Tarul is particularly interested in diving deeper on cross-cutting issues around caste, gender, and health in India.
She has devoted nearly three years to performing mix methods research, quasi-experimental evaluations, and monitoring and evaluation. Prior to joining Athena Infonomics, Tarul was engaged with Development Solutions Inc., where she worked with a myriad of stakeholders, including national and international philanthropic organizations, non-profits, academic institutions, and private organizations as clients.
