Priyanka has ten years’ experience in writing and editing in a wide array of domains. She joined Panjab University in 2017 to pursue a doctorate in Mass Communication and Journalism with a specialization in Development/Health Communication. During her doctorate, she focused on achieving rigour in designing research methodologies, research instruments, and writing. Her interests include conducting research within ethnic communities to understand a different way of life and contextualizing the localized research within the global context.

She has successfully completed her tenure as a UGC research fellow and is working towards completing her doctorate. She is interested in understanding the ways in which data can be understood within specific cultural contexts to inform policy making.
